Oliver Lodge is a not-for-profit church-based special care home providing long-term care to 139 residents as well as programming and support to people living within the larger community. Oliver Place, connected to the Lodge, is a 69 suite complex providing subsidized assisted living for seniors. The recent completion of a three-storey addition combined with a complete renovation to the existing facility resulted in a state of the art special care home. A dedicated staff and engaged Board of Directors, combined with the new facility and beautiful gardens and grounds, results in a relaxing and supportive environment and excellent communities of care for residents. With the imminent retirement of the current Executive Director, Oliver Lodge is seeking a new Executive Director to lead the organization into the future and contribute to its continued success.

As the Executive Director, you report to and work closely with the Board of Directors and provide executive leadership to Oliver Lodge to ensure that the mission and vision are operationalized.  Utilizing strong business and financial planning acumen and administration experience, you ensure the long-term viability of all aspects of Oliver Lodge’s operations.

With a caring and compassionate approach, you lead by example to ensure consistent delivery of care to clients entrusted to Oliver Lodge. Your leadership approach provides you with credibility and is motivating to staff and stakeholders.

With an eye to the future, you are constantly scanning the environment and bringing new ideas to the Board to further enhance the role and services provided by Oliver Lodge. You are a skilled communicator, able to clearly articulate the goals and objectives of the organization, while engaging all stakeholders in implementing those plans.

To prepare you for this opportunity, you have 8 years of progressive leadership experience in a health care facility and a relevant degree. Experience in a long-term care facility is considered an asset.
